Payment Terms & Conditions

  • Team payment account: Using payment items feature in InstaTeam requires that the team should be associated with either a Paypal account or a Stripe account to receive payments. Only team admins can associate a team with a payment account. In addition, at a given time there can be only one account associated with the team; and this account will receive all the payments made by the team members.

  • Stripe payment account: If you have a Stipe account, you can associate that account with InstaTeam. Stripe account is very simple and quick to create. You can create Stripe account within InstaTeam mobile or web app. The team members can make payments very fast using credit card payments. With Stripe account, the members can use credit or debit card.

  • Paypal account: You can also use your existing Paypal account to associate with the team. If you do not have a paypal account, you can create one within the InstaTeam app. While making payments, the members can either use their existing paypal account or any credit or debit card to make payments.

  • Processing fees: The members can make payments by using their paypal account, credit Card or Bank Debit Card. Each payment will incur processing fees which comprises; 1) Transaction fee charged by the payment provider(Stripe or Paypal), and 2) InstaTeam Fee of 2% + 50 cents. The details about the processing fee charged by Stripe and Paypal can be found on their respective website.

  • Payment of processing fees: The team admins have the ability to pass on the processing fee to the team members. For each payment item, team admin can select whether the processing free should be added to the item price. Team members see the transaction fee and the InstaTeam fee when making payments. If the team admins do not specify the team members to pay for the processing fees then the fee will be deducted from the payment made by the member.

  • Cash/Check/Waived/Other payments: If team admins receive payments via cash/check/waived or other forms of payment methods, they can track those payments within InstaTeam also. However, such payments and refunds will need to be added manually by the team admin.

  • Member payment refunds: All refund requests from team members will be handled by the team admin who received the payments. InstaTeam or Xymob is not responsible for any refunds for payments made by the member and will not track refunds as part of the payment history.

  • InstaTeam platform fees refunds: InstaTeam platform fees are non-refundable even if the team admin refund member the original payment. If for a given transaction, the InstaTeam Fee exceeds $5.00, then InstaTeam may, at its sole discretion, decide to refund part of the platform fee. The team admin will need to provide sufficient evidence of processed refund. Any platform fee below $5 will not be refundable under any circumstances.
